OFFICE MANAGER


Lizz

A Bronx native, Lizz has served as the dental office manager for Candlewood Family Dental since 2022. She is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry’s Dental Assistant Training Program and worked as a certified dental assistant for more than twenty-five years. Lizz takes pride in answering any questions patients may have regarding their treatment plans, insurance, and payments.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Lizz lives in Sandy Hook and enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter. Her hobbies include cruising, traveling, dining out, hiking, and cheering on her husband’s students at Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments.


FRONT OFFICE


Rose

A native of Long Island, Rose has been in the dental field for more than twenty years. She worked as an assistant for multiple specialty offices before transitioning to an administrative role here at Candlewood Family Dental.

Rose and her husband raised three children together before moving to Connecticut in 2022. They enjoy swimming, hiking, and taking advantage of all that the area has to offer.

 

Abby

Having worked in the medical field for seven years, Abby is pursuing a master’s degree in secondary education at Western Connecticut State University. Abby has been a treatment coordinator for Dr. Waldron since 2023. She previously worked for a retina specialist in Danbury.

On weekends, Abby teaches dance lessons to children at a studio in New Milford. She enjoys Connecticut’s hiking trails, and spending time with family, friends, and pets.

 

Anita

Born and raised in Westchester County, New York, Anita began working as a scheduling coordinator for Dr. Waldron after moving to Litchfield County in 2023. She previously worked in an orthodontics office.

Anita loves spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and dog, especially swimming at the lake, barbecuing, and playing basketball, badminton, and cornhole. She also travels locally as a bridal make-up artist.


DENTAL HYGIENISTS


Stephanie

With a degree in dental hygiene from West Virginia University, Stephanie strives to give our patients the highest standard of care and to be gentle yet thorough. Her top priority is building lasting relationships with patients, making them feel safe and heard when they come into our office for care.

Stephanie enjoys the outdoors, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband, three daughters, and two dogs.

 

Jessica

A dedicated dental hygienist for more than fifteen years, Jessica educates our patients about the importance of oral health and collaborates with them to create personalized home-care plans. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Bridgeport. With a gentle and empathetic approach, Jessica has worked with diverse patient demographics, including children and those with special needs.

Jessica enjoys baking and spending time with her husband, daughter, and twin sons.

 

Kelly B.

Kelly discovered that dental hygiene was her calling after working as a periodontal surgical dental assistant. She then earned associate degrees in dental hygiene and public health from Goodwin University, with minors in psychology and history. With a passion for periodontal specialties, Kelly educates our patients about the importance of oral health.

Born and raised in Bethel, Kelly now resides in Rosendale, New York with her fiancé. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends, family, and her two cats.

 

Josette

A dedicated registered dental hygienist with more than seventeen years of experience, Josette graduated from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport. She takes time to help our patients love their smiles and is skilled in proper oral hygiene training. Josette’s expertise includes conducting dental cleanings, digital x-rays, periodontal evaluation, and treatment of gum disease.

A Naugatuck native, Josette resides in New Haven County. She enjoys traveling, road trips, playing golf, long walks, gardening, and spending time with family and loved ones.


DENTAL ASSISTANTS


Kelly M.

A dental assistant for more than twenty years, Kelly loves getting to know our patients. She considers helping our patients overcome their dental fears to be the most rewarding part of her job.

Kelly enjoys going to the gym, watching anything MMA-related, and traveling all over the East Coast to attend her daughter’s cheer competitions.

 

Deysi

A dental assistant for more than ten years, Deysi finds satisfaction in taking care of our patients and helping them achieve beautiful smiles. She is bilingual and enjoys helping our Spanish speaking patients communicate more effectively.

Deysi lives in Newtown with her husband and two sons. Her favorite pastime is cheering on her sons as they compete on different sports teams.

 

Brian

Brian spent a couple of years learning dental assisting while performing the role for his favorite dental student at The Ohio State University in 1995 and 1996. He has diligently filled in where needed by Dr. Waldron for the last 29 years. Clients are most likely to see Brian in the second chair nights, weekends and holidays. He is proud to be Dr. Waldron’s longest serving dental assistant even if he is now her 4th choice.
